BUILDING BLOX, LLC
Website Terms of Use

Published version 1
1. Agreement and Acceptance
These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between Building Blox, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Building Blox,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), and each person accessing or using our websites, applications, educational materials, account services, and related technology (collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account, affirmatively accepting these Terms, or using services made available subject to these Terms, you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you may not use the affected services.
Users must be at least 18 years old to register for an account or request a professional introduction.
2. Nature of the Platform
Building Blox provides technology-enabled real estate education, homebuying organization tools, buyer preference management, and, where available, introductions to independently licensed real estate professionals.
Building Blox is not itself a licensed real estate brokerage, mortgage lender, title insurance company, law firm, or financial advisory firm. It does not negotiate real estate transactions, provide brokerage representation, issue mortgage approvals, or undertake professional duties reserved to licensed persons.
The availability of any feature may vary by geographic location, eligibility, operational readiness, and participation by independent professionals.
3. No Professional Relationship
Use of the Platform does not create an attorney-client, broker-client, fiduciary, lender-borrower, or other professional advisory relationship with Building Blox.
A buyer representation relationship may arise only through applicable law and an agreement or other legally sufficient arrangement with the relevant licensed brokerage or professional.
A request for an introduction does not constitute acceptance by any Realtor.
4. Educational Information
Educational resources are provided for general informational purposes and are primarily informed by Texas real estate practices.
Real estate laws, financing rules, agency requirements, contracts, disclosures, and transaction procedures vary by jurisdiction and change over time.
Users should independently verify material information and obtain advice from appropriately licensed professionals before making legal, financial, contractual, or property-purchase decisions.
5. Accuracy and Automated Assistance
Building Blox may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to organize information, assist with navigation, or provide educational explanations.
Automated outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or unsupported conclusions. They do not constitute professional advice.
Building Blox does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or suitability of educational information, property information, automated recommendations, or third-party content.
Where property suggestions are available, listing information may change without notice. Availability, price, condition, and listing status must be confirmed through authorized sources and qualified professionals.
6. Accounts and Security
Users agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of their credentials, and notify Building Blox promptly of suspected unauthorized account activity.
Users may not impersonate others, create fraudulent accounts, circumvent access controls, interfere with Platform security, or access information without authorization.
Building Blox may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, security risks, material violations, unlawful activity, or threats to other users.
7. Realtor Introductions
Where available, Building Blox may facilitate introductions to independently licensed Realtors and their brokerages based on geographic coverage, availability, eligibility, and buyer preferences.
Building Blox does not guarantee an introduction, response time, Realtor availability, professional compatibility, property availability, financing approval, or transaction outcome.
Participating Realtors remain independently responsible for their licensing, brokerage supervision, professional conduct, advertising, agency disclosures, representation agreements, and services.
Building Blox may decline or reassign an introduction request where operationally appropriate. Reassignment through the Platform does not terminate an existing buyer representation agreement.
8. Consumer Information and Communications
When a user requests an introduction, Building Blox may share the categories of information identified in the applicable consent disclosure with the selected Realtor or brokerage for the requested purpose.
Users must provide any legally required consent before the corresponding disclosure or communication occurs.
Account security messages, requested service notifications, and marketing communications are subject to applicable law and the Company's Privacy Notice.
Marketing consent is separate from consent necessary to operate a requested service wherever required.
9. Fair Housing and Prohibited Conduct
Users may not use the Platform to engage in unlawful discrimination, steering, harassment, discriminatory advertising, fraud, or other conduct prohibited by applicable fair housing or consumer protection laws.
Building Blox may investigate credible reports and take proportionate action, including restricting access and preserving relevant evidence.
10. Intellectual Property
Building Blox and its licensors retain their respective rights in the Platform, software, branding, original educational materials, graphics, designs, and other protected content.
Users receive a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Platform for lawful personal or authorized professional purposes.
Users may not reproduce, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, scrape, distribute, or create unauthorized derivative works from protected Platform materials except as permitted by applicable law or express written authorization.
Users retain ownership of their own lawful content and grant Building Blox a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, maintain security, and comply with law.
11. Third-Party Services
Third-party websites, listing providers, brokerages, financing services, and other independent businesses may maintain separate terms and privacy practices.
Links or introductions do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee. Building Blox is not responsible for independently provided professional services or third-party contractual obligations merely because a link or introduction was facilitated.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
BUILDING BLOX DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES WARRANTIES, RIGHTS, OR REMEDIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Building Blox and its officers, managers, employees, and authorized representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or lost anticipated transactions.
For claims arising solely from free consumer use of the Platform, the Company's aggregate contractual liability shall not exceed $100, except where applicable law prohibits that limitation.
This limitation does not exclude liability for the Company's fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or other obligations that cannot lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these Terms restricts statutory consumer remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, a user who engages in unlawful activity, intentional misuse, infringement, or material contractual violations shall indemnify Building Blox against qualifying third-party claims directly resulting from that conduct.
This obligation does not apply to claims attributable to Building Blox's own unlawful conduct or to the extent indemnification is prohibited by law.
15. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating ordinary civil litigation concerning these Terms, the parties shall provide written notice describing the dispute and attempt good-faith resolution for 30 days.
If unresolved, the parties shall attempt nonbinding mediation, remotely or in Dallas County, Texas, before proceeding with ordinary litigation, except where emergency relief is reasonably necessary or applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing restricts regulatory complaints, legally protected proceedings, small-claims remedies where applicable, or other nonwaivable rights.
16. Governing Law and Venue
Texas law governs these Terms without overriding mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional requirements.
Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction located in Dallas County, Texas.
17. Changes and Termination
Building Blox may modify the Platform or these Terms prospectively. Material changes will receive appropriate notice, and renewed consent will be obtained where required.
Building Blox may discontinue features or terminate accounts for legitimate operational, security, contractual, or legal reasons.
Termination does not eliminate accrued rights, lawful record-retention duties, or provisions intended to survive termination.
18. Severability and Entire Agreement
If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with expressly incorporated policies and separately accepted service-specific agreements, constitute the agreement governing Platform use.
